Thank you for your interest in the Colorado Cares Program down payment assistance program. Using the Colorado Cares Program is easy. We simply recommend that you include the following contract addendum with the Purchase and Sale Agreement:

The seller will be provided with a Colorado Cares Program Transaction Summary/Seller Participation Acknowledgement and Disclosure Form for the seller's final review and approval at closing. This form provides a brief summary of the transaction and confirms the seller's agreement to pay the required contribution and origination and processing fee. It also states that payment of the contribution and origination and processing fee is not required if the buyer does not purchase the subject property. Finally, by executing this form, the seller agrees to instruct the closing office to retain and forward the contribution to AmeriDream, Inc. within five (5) business days of the successful completion of the closing.
